Audible credits expire 12 months after they are issued. This applies to both monthly credits and any credits you've rolled over from previous months.
The Expiration Rule
If you receive a credit on January 1st, it expires on December 31st of the same year (12 months later). Canceling your membership immediately forfeits all remaining credits.
How to Check Your Expiration Dates
Go to Account Details → Your Membership → Premium Plus Credits to see your current credits and their expiration dates.
Expiration Strategy
- Set calendar reminders 30 days before expiration
- Spend credits on books with high Value Scores
- Don't let credits pile up - spend them before they expire
- Before canceling, spend all remaining credits
Warning: An expired credit is worth $0. Better to spend on a decent book than lose it entirely.
